Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of uriddle.com and the uRiddle service. By accessing or using uRiddle, creating an account, or submitting content, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the service. “uRiddle,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the service and its operator.
What uRiddle provides
uRiddle is an entertainment platform for riddles, visual challenges, word and logic puzzles, Sudoku, daily challenges, community-created content, profiles, social interactions, messages, points, streaks, badges, and leaderboards. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed over time, and some features may be unavailable in a particular location, device, or account.
Eligibility and younger users
You must be legally able to agree to these terms where you live. Age and parental-consent requirements differ by jurisdiction. If you cannot legally agree on your own, you may use uRiddle only with the involvement and permission of a parent or guardian who accepts responsibility for your use.
Parents and guardians should help younger users protect personal information and understand community and messaging features.
Accounts and security
Provide accurate information, choose an appropriate username, and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and must tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Do not create accounts through deception, impersonate another person, transfer or sell accounts, evade a suspension, or use another person’s account without permission. We may require username changes or take reasonable steps to protect an account or the community.
Acceptable use and community standards
Keep uRiddle playful, fair, and safe. You may not:
- harass, threaten, exploit, discriminate against, or impersonate others;
- post sexual, violent, hateful, illegal, privacy-invasive, or otherwise harmful content, especially content that endangers minors;
- spam, scam, distribute malware, phish, scrape without authorization, probe security, disrupt the service, or bypass access controls or rate limits;
- infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- cheat, manipulate attempts, points, streaks, badges, votes, rankings, ad events, referrals, or rewards;
- use bots, automation, multiple accounts, or coordinated activity to gain an unfair advantage or burden the service; or
- use uRiddle for unlawful activity or help another person violate these terms.
You can use available report and block tools. We may investigate reports but cannot promise to review every item immediately.
Your content
You keep the ownership rights you have in riddles, comments, messages, images, profile material, feedback, and other content you submit (“User Content”). You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it and that it complies with these terms.
You give uRiddle a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for formatting and technical delivery, display, distribute, moderate, and make your User Content available as needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve uRiddle. This license is transferable to service providers working for us and sublicensable only as needed for those purposes. It lasts while the content is on the service and for a reasonable period in backups, legal records, or copies already shared by others.
Direct messages and private drafts are not licensed for public promotion. Published riddles and public contributions may remain visible after account deletion in de-identified form where needed to preserve the service and community context.
Riddles and community contributions
Submit only riddles and assets you created or are allowed to use. Avoid copying a protected collection, image, or explanation without permission. Similar ideas, familiar puzzle formats, common facts, and independently created riddles may exist, so uRiddle cannot promise that a contribution is unique.
Submissions and revisions may be reviewed before or after publication. We may edit formatting, correct presentation issues, reject, unpublish, archive, or remove content that is inaccurate, unsafe, low quality, infringing, or inconsistent with the service. Submission does not guarantee publication, placement, points, or continued availability.
AI-generated and AI-assisted content
Some riddles, images, explanations, or moderation and verification results may be generated or assisted by AI. AI output can be incomplete, incorrect, inconsistent, similar to other material, or unsuitable. Review content before publishing or relying on it, and do not assume AI output is original or free of third-party rights.
AI-generated content on uRiddle is primarily for entertainment. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, educational assessment, or other high-stakes decisions. Prompts and related content may be processed by an AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy.
uRiddle intellectual property
Except for User Content and third-party material, uRiddle and its software, design, branding, artwork, databases, selection and arrangement of content, and other service materials are owned by or licensed to uRiddle and protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose. They do not permit you to copy, sell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit uRiddle except where law expressly allows it.
Gameplay, points, streaks, and rewards
Scores, points, XP, levels, streaks, badges, leaderboard positions, hints, and other virtual rewards are part of the game. They have no cash value, are not property, cannot be transferred or sold, and cannot be redeemed for money unless uRiddle expressly says otherwise for a specific feature.
We may correct errors, reverse fraudulent or mistaken transactions, adjust scoring, reset rankings, or remove rewards obtained through cheating, exploits, automation, or manipulation. Availability and rules can change to keep the experience fair.
Advertising, ad-free access, and VIP
uRiddle may show ads and sponsored content. Ads are supplied by uRiddle or third parties and do not necessarily represent an endorsement. You agree not to generate invalid impressions or clicks or interfere with ad delivery.
Where offered, points may be exchanged for temporary ad-free access, and VIP may be sold as a one-time purchase for the account perks shown at checkout. Card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by uRiddle. Prices, included perks, availability, taxes, and refund rights may vary or change; the checkout information controls for a specific purchase. Mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction still apply. Virtual points spent for an activated benefit are generally not reversible except where required by law or needed to correct an error.
Third-party services and links
uRiddle relies on third-party services for functions such as authentication, payment processing, email, hosting, storage, analytics, advertising, media search, and AI features. Third-party sites, content, or services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, though these terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be limited.
Moderation, suspension, and termination
We may review, restrict, hide, reject, remove, or preserve content and may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users, investigate suspected abuse, comply with law, address security risks, or operate the service. We may use automated tools and human review.
You may stop using uRiddle at any time and can request account deletion from profile settings or through Support. Provisions that by their nature should survive—such as licenses for retained content, intellectual-property terms, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—continue after termination.
Service availability and changes
We work to keep uRiddle enjoyable and available, but the service may be interrupted, delayed, changed, or discontinued. We do not guarantee that every riddle, feature, message, reward, or account record will always be available or error-free. Maintain your own copy of content that matters to you. We may update these terms or the service as technology, features, and legal requirements change.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, uRiddle is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not make warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, suitable for a particular purpose, or free from harmful components. Riddles, answers, explanations, community posts, AI output, and third-party content may contain mistakes. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, uRiddle will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of or inability to use the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the greatest extent the law allows. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including where applicable liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence.
Applicable law and changes to these terms
These terms are governed by the laws that apply based on the service operator and your location, without inventing or selecting a jurisdiction not otherwise established by uRiddle. Courts and dispute processes with legal authority under applicable law may hear disputes. Nothing here takes away mandatory consumer protections or rights you have where you live.
We may revise these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version and change the date above. For material changes, we may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continuing to use uRiddle after updated terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.
